Oh, how we need God’s peace!

Sermon offered at Christ Episcopal Church in Fairfield, Alabama, on December 24, 2018.

“But when we go out into that darkness, we must go out as agents of the peace of God. We must go out to tell the world that the heavens have been torn open. That the peace of God is among us to heal us, to teach us, to save us. . . . When you leave this place, you are called to leave it transformed. To go into the world and to tell everyone what you have seen and heard. For tonight, you have met the Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace.”
