“Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”

It seems like such a simple request, but this request leads to Jesus’ announcement that the hour had come. The request of the Greeks to see Jesus is answered by Jesus’ teaching on the cross. If the cross is where we see Jesus, what are we seeing there?

A sermon offered on the Fifth Sunday of Lent on March 18, 2018, at Christ Episcopal Church in Fairfield, AL. Readings: Jeremiah 31:31-34; Psalm 119:9-16; Hebrews 5:5-10; John 12:20-33.
